The only issue is that it doesn't provide the same level of customization like other bean-to-cup machines we have tried. It's got a 15-bar pump rather than the more common 19 bar that aren't as efficient for producing quality espressos. But other than that, this is a fantastic bean-to-cup machine for those who prefer their coffee strong and dark. The Barista TS Smart has a range of features that differentiate it from the competition. Its most unique feature may be the fact that it is able to be controlled via your smartphone via the Melitta Connect App. This allows you to change settings and even dispense various coffee recipes that are stored in the machine itself.
